Working standards

We provide all our employees with development and training opportunities suited to their abilities and the requirements of their role, and with an environment of effective communication and motivation in which they can use their creativity and express their ideas.
To ensure compliance with our working standards, we apply the following rules:
1. No child labour
In accordance with the Turkish Labour Law, children and young people under the age of 15 are not permitted to work in our company. This restriction also applies to contracted subcontractors working at our facilities.
2. No forced labour
No one may be made to work by force or against their will. Under no circumstances may employees' identity cards or passports be withheld. Salaried employees are not given advances or loans. Employees' right to leave the workplace outside working hours or at the end of their shift is respected. The right to resign, subject to notice periods, is respected.
3. No threats or harassment
We recognise that every employee has the right to work in an environment free from harassment and bullying. We do not allow any physical, psychological, sexual or racial harassment, bullying, threats or physical punishment. We expect our employees to embrace this principle as well. Every employee is personally responsible for not harassing, threatening or bullying other employees.
4. Non-discrimination
Our employees' ethnic origin, gender, religion, race, class, nationality, sexual orientation, membership of legal organisations or political views may not be questioned; no one may be treated differently or subjected to physical or psychological pressure for these reasons.
There may be no discrimination based on these differences in practices such as recruitment, pay, promotion, discipline, access to training, retirement or dismissal.
5. Health and safety
We ensure that the workplace and its surroundings do not endanger the physical integrity or health of employees.
In accordance with laws and regulations, we provide a safe and healthy workplace, fire safety, adequate lighting and ventilation, reasonable access to drinking water and toilets, and access to medical treatment.
We create and implement programmes to prevent possible accidents, build awareness of safe behaviour and improve general working conditions.
6. Wages and working hours
Our employees' wages are set at no less than the minimum wage. When setting wages, we also take into account market conditions and purchasing power sufficient to meet basic needs. We provide our employees with a detailed payslip showing their monthly earnings and statutory deductions. We ensure that overtime pay is calculated and paid correctly.
The normal working week is 45 hours. Overtime is requested from our employees only when unforeseeable work conditions arise and within legal limits. Overtime complies with the Labour Law. We respect our employees' work–life balance.
7. Discipline
The methods used to evaluate employee performance and to address non-compliance with disciplinary rules are explained through simple, easy-to-understand procedures. Disciplinary measures are applied as set out in detail in our Human Resources Procedure and are communicated to employees. New employees are helped to understand these procedures through training and feedback.
Protecting the environment
All activities to protect the environment (reducing energy and water consumption, reducing and recovering waste, treating wastewater, reducing pollution, controlling air emissions, etc.) are carried out with a sustainable approach. We comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.
Ethical trade
We conduct our business with integrity and with respect for the rights and interests of our business partners. We aim for our relationships with business partners to be built on mutual respect and honesty and to be mutually beneficial. We act in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations in all our commercial activities.

Giving and receiving gifts should remain within the bounds of mutual courtesy. Gifts and hospitality must not affect the objectivity of the recipient and must not be perceived as a bribe.
Promotional gifts of symbolic value given on special occasions, and hospitality of this kind, may be accepted and offered.
Gifts exceeding a symbolic value, cash, and offers such as travel and accommodation may under no circumstances be accepted or offered.
Accepting or offering bribes and illegal commissions is prohibited and is grounds for immediate dismissal.
